A Journey from Tokyo to Here

Founded in 2020 by Chef Takeshi Yamamoto, Yuki Izakaya represents a lifelong dream of bringing authentic Japanese izakaya culture to the community.

Growing up in Tokyo's bustling Shibuya district, Chef Takeshi spent his childhood surrounded by the vibrant energy of traditional izakayas. After training for 15 years in some of Tokyo's finest establishments, he embarked on a journey to share this rich culinary heritage.

Yuki Izakaya isn't just a restaurant—it's a celebration of Japanese craftsmanship, seasonal ingredients, and the communal spirit of sharing good food with great company.

  • 2006-2012: Apprentice at Sukiyabashi Jiro, Tokyo
  • 2012-2016: Sous Chef at Kikunoi, Kyoto
  • 2016-2019: Head Chef at Narisawa, Tokyo
  • 2020-Present: Owner & Head Chef, Yuki Izakaya
